Bolt interlocks

Boltlocks are mainly used on switches and earthing switches.

When choosing your bolt lock you must consider the following points:

1- They have either 1 or 2 cylinders and 1 or 2 bolts depending on the equipment to be fitted.

2- The bolt’s position (in or out) determines that of the key (trapped or free).

The bolt is used to lock the mechanism on which it is installed, size and travel must be checked.

3- Bolts are available in different lengths and diameters.

Special reccomandations:

- Boltlocks must never be used to lock a point of access (like a door) or to lock transformes' plug-in connectors.

- Boltlocks can be fixed either from cylinder side or from the opposite side of the cylinder.

For fixing, we strongly advise not to « re-drill » the fixing holes and to use fixing elements not exceeding   5mm and with maximum torque value of 1,5 Nm.
